2011-2012 Distant Trips Offerings
Our slate of skiing trips for the 2012 ski season is complete. The Distant Trips Committee looked at proposals on destinations in Utah, California, Idaho, Colorado and Europe. Due to various constraints, mostly from the airlines, the resorts that made the final list were all in Colorado. All things considered, this line up is robust and will take our groups to some of the best skiing in the world.
The early sign up period begins on August 15th. Trip Leaders are permitted to accept reservation forms and deposit checks on that date and not before. The fall meeting for trips and membership sign up is scheduled for Thursday, September 15th at the Concord Yacht Club.

Vail, CO - Jan. 14 - 21, 2012; cost is $1,175.00 per person, double occupancy; pre-sign up deposit is $275.00 with 32 spaces available. Price includes round trip airfare on United, ground transfers, seven nights lodging at the Vail Spa and travel insurance. Trip Leader is Carl Lyke.
Breckenridge, CO - January 28 - February 4, 2012; cost is $1,160.00 per person, double occupancy; pre-sign up deposit is $260.00 with 32 spaces available. Price includes round trip airfare on United, ground transfers, seven nights lodging at the Great Divide Lodge and travel insurance. Trip Leader is Jennifer Emch.
Steamboat, Colorado - Feb. 11 - 18, 2012; cost is $1,350.00 per person, double occupancy; pre-sign up deposit is $250.00 with 32 spaces available. Price includes round trip airfare on United, ground transfers, seven nights lodging at Dulaney Condominiums and travel insurance. Trip Leader is Debbie Light.

Travel insurance is included in your KSOC trip package. As a participant on a KSOC distant ski trip, you are automatically covered by travel insurance. Copies of all pertinent documents, including a schedule of benefits, will be provided prior to your departure date.
Jamaica All Inclusive Trip - April 21 - 27, 2012; We have put together a fantastic trip to a 5 Star, All Inclusive, adults only, resort in Jamaica. This is for 6 nights at the Jewel Dunn's River Resort. Jamaica is one of the Caribbean's most beautiful islands. This resort has 2 large pools with swim-up bars, unlimited Premium liquor, luxurious rooms, all gourmet meals at 6 different restaurants, many water sports activities, jazz each evening at the pool, 9 hole pitch & putt golf course, daily activities & entertainment, and a beautiful white sand beach on Mammee Bay and much, much more!!!
